I had a decision to make. Do I see the stinky Nicholas Cage movie or the stinky Gwyneth Paltrow movie. Since Gwyneth is the better actor I went with Country Strong. It was still probably the better of the two bad movies but it was still pretty bad. Horrible acting by everyone but Gwyneth, the story was terrible and she was only on the screen around 20 minutes of the hour and fifty minutes of the movie. You had to wonder what they were thinking when they made this. When Gwyneth was on the screen it was a three star movie worthy of your movie dollar. When she wasn't, which was most of the time it was barely a one star train wreck.
If you still want to see it, be sure to rent it so you can fast foward through all the bad parts and enjoy Ms Paltrow's wonderful performance.
