Movie Review, I Love you Phillip Morris 2.5 Stars

This strange movie based upon a true story start Jim Carrey as a sociopathic homosexual who is a successful scam artist.  So this movie sets up like a gay "Catch me if you Can".  Unfortunately, he falls in love with the perpetual victim of scam artists Ewan McGregor.  The madcap adventure ensues both in prison and out.  The movie had some very funny moments but also big gaps were the humor just didn't hit.  Also, more than a few uncomfortable "Brokeback Mountain" moments.  This would make an okay rental if you were fans of the actors but realize it has a very hard R rating.
