Movie Review: The Contagion 2.5 stars

This movie had a great cast ( Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet,etc) and a great plot at the onset.  Unfortunately, it felt like you spent the entire movie getting the plot set up, then it ended.    One minute the world it going to heck in a hand basket and the next, everything is fine and we can all sit in a circle and sing kumbaya.   Each of the stars had their own story that was told but none of them were very compelling.   This is definitely a renter at best.

Movie Review: The Debt 3 Stars

The debt is about three Israeli Mossad agents who search for a Nazi war criminal The Butcher of Birkenau.  Great performance and although the story was riveting at time, many times it was way too slow.  

It's hard to recommend this movie because it is just so depressing.  It's starts very sad and goes downhill from there.  Every time you think there may be light and at this very long and dark tunnel, all you get is more darkness.  Then the movie ends.....yikes!

What it for the craft of movie making and see some great acting but if you are looking for a fun night out this is not the movie to see.   See The Help instead :-)

Movie Reviews: My Idiot Brother 2.5 stars

Paul Rudd has made a career making movie that are not quite worth the price of a ticket yet not terrible either.  That's exactly how I classify this movie.   Excellent actresses in this movie, two of my favorites Elizabeth Banks and Zooey Deschanel.   It was kinda funny, kinda quirky, and kinda okay.  So, I recommend you wait until you have a Red Box free coupon code then watch this movie or wait for netflix.
